1. Happy Holidays!

Now that we've all had about as much food as our stomachs can hold,... it's time to shop till you drop.
First there is Black Friday, then Small Business Saturday and finally Cyber Monday.
I like to encourage people to give the gift of art on each day and most days this season.
All the best to you.

2. Spider Magazine Cover Art

Here's a better scan of the cover art. It didn't really arrive at the bookstores till this last Tuesday. Some Barnes and Noble don't carry it, which is weird but mostly kid bookstores and some independent booksellers have it on stock. Also available on Amazon...

6. Opening page of Bear Book

This was the first page for the picture book that I'd been working on for the last 6 months for a publisher. I didn't write the book. It's taken longer then expected because I have a full time job. I work for Pokemon during the day doing a lot of concept drawing and painting, which is a lot of fun but it did leave little time to work on this book. But both have been fun. I have two more spreads to finish then then the end papers. That should finish it up. Then I can get back to my own projects in the evenings and weekends. Hope you like it and will buy the book when it's available.

10.

If you are near the Tacoma area, which isn't very far from Seattle, (about a half hour drive at the most) I have art in this SCBWI WWA illustrators exhibit. The image that I have framed is also one of the murals in the museum on the 3rd floor for the "Time Intrusionator" exhibit. So if you go to the SCBWI show, please stop by the exhibit on the third floor. I have several other images in that show.
