It's a Saturday with sprinkles on top kinda day. Here in Houston they are called sprinkles but when I lived in Boston they were called jimmies. What are they called where you are?
My girlfriend is getting married in May and I am doing her invitations. I have been slowly working on them but today I really rolled with it. My back is so sore and it's time for a break.
The invites are like a little book...very cute. I will show you when I finish. My fluffball cat Madi was keeping me company warming her belly under the lamp.

How cute is the recycled sweater throw from Better Homes & Gardens? I just love this idea. The thrift store near me will be marking all the winter sweaters 50% soon. I think I might need to go get a few and make one.

Saw off a slice of the Christmas tree trunk, label with the year's date, and make an ornament out of it! This would be cute with a family photo on the back!

I never feel skinny but I do feel like a busted can of buscuits most times.
Here is a new little friend I did using paper. I enjoyed cutting him out and making the wonky eyes.
Once this was dry I went back in and added lots of details.
I'm adding more matte medium to this piece because it's so thick with papers.
Thanks to my local Home Depot I was able to get some free scrap wood...yay! I did this using an old light bulb and red wire.
