Bio:
Kristina McMorris lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two sons. She has garnered more than twenty national literary awards since writing her first novel, Letters from Home. A graduate of Pepperdine University, she spent twelve years hosting weekly television shows, including an Emmy® Award-winning television show at age nine. Prior to her literary career, she was the owner of a wedding/event planning business and public relations director of an international conglomerate.

If you could travel in a Time Machine would you go back to the past or into the future?
Definitely the past, specifically the '40s or '50s
If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 things would you want with you?
My two sons and husband, without a doubt. Good thing we didn't have another child!
What is one book everyone should read?
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Pistachio
What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?
Malt-o-Meal (yes, someone under the age of 80 still actually eats the stuff!)
One food you would never eat?
Sea urchin -- just look at the stuff and you'll understand why
Favorite cartoon?
Ooh, I'd have to say either Shrek or Polar Express
What is your favorite sport to watch on TV?
Curling! I'm kidding...just had to say it. Honestly, I'm baffled by how that qualifies as an Olympic sport.
What is your favorite book that has been made into a movie?
Water for Elephants -- I can't wait to see the film when it releases in April.
Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
Aside from the fact you'd be helping send my children to college (LOL), I would love to share my labor-of-love story with all of you and hopefully spur both laughter and tears while touching your heart.

I love books with a WWII setting. I think it is one of the most romantic periods in the modern age.
