Today you can win a copy of indie author Tammy Blackwell's book, Destiny Binds (Timber Wolves, Book 1). OR if you have already read Destiny Binds, you can have Time Mends (Timber Wolves, Book 2) instead.
The winner also gets to choose whether they get a paperback or Kindle copy.
Why did I pick Tammy Blackwell and her books to feature for the Indie Author Giveaway Hop?
She's a librarian.
Her books are laugh-out-loud funny!
Look at those covers. There are some "real" publishers whose covers aren't as good as these!
Seriously, even if you don't win my giveaway, if you love YA paranormal romance (and laughter) you should give these a go. The third book is due out later this year! You can find out more about Tammy at her blog, www.misstammywrites.com.

Just trust me on this. It's really good.

I just read the Poison Study trilogy in April and loved it! I think Poison Study is my favorite and I wholeheartedly endorse your efforts to get Maria Snyder's books into more people's hands! (And that's why I won't enter the giveaway ... A new reader needs to win it.)
Thanks for this giveaway! I loved Poison Study :P I borrowed it from the library and I'd really like my own copy cause I liked it that much. With that being said though I want to try another Maria V. Snyder book as well! "/

Set on the island of Nantucket, STARCROSSED tells the tale of Helen Hamilton, a young woman whose destiny is forever altered when she meets Lucas Delos and tries to kill him in front of her entire high school. Which is terribly inconvenient, not only because Lucas is the most beautiful boy on the island, but also because Helen is so achingly shy she suffers physical pain whenever she is given too much attention.
Making matters worse, Helen is beginning to suspect she’s going crazy. Whenever she’s near Lucas or any member of his family she sees the ghostly apparitions of three women weeping bloody tears, and suffers the burden of an intense and irrational hate. She soon learns that she and Lucas are destined to play the leading roles in a Greek tragedy that the Three Fates insist on repeating over and over again throughout history. Like her namesake, Helen of Troy, she’s destined to start a war by falling in love. But even though Lucas and Helen can see their own star-crossed destiny, they’re still powerfully attracted to each other. Will they give up their personal happiness for the greater good, or risk it all to be together?

I had a little celebration for myself yesterday by pre-ordering a few books that I've been dying to read, such as Shadows and Bone by Leigh Bardugo, Darkness before Dawn by J.A. London and The Selection by Kiera Cass!
Celebrating the same way I do every week...reading children's books. I'm reading The Little White Horse right now, which is a classic I missed when I was a kid.
I'm celebrating Children's Book Week with a week full of posts specifically catering to children's books, giveaways and special guests sharing their childhood reading memories and endeavors to expand the minds of children now. In other words...with the power of reading! ^_^ Thanks for the chance....and happy children's book week everyone!
I'm participating in this hop and I read all the time to my kids because I homeschool them so I guess every week would be a day of partcipation LOL.But this week I'm reviewing childrens books with my kids on my book blog
The only thing I am doing is participating in this blog hop, but at my former job we had a Scholastic Book Fair, RIF giveaways, and community helpers guest read each year.
Thanks for participating in the hop and for the giveaway opportunity.
I'm going to do some reading myself. =) And maybe recommend some books to my siblings. =) Thanks for the giveaway! ~Shelby http://gobsandgobsofbooks.blogspot.com/
I'm celebrating by sharing lots of books with my students. This is one of my favorite things to do. This week just gives me an excuse to do what I love to do anyway. I'm also trying to read a whole bunch of books this week, not that I'll ever catch up on my TBR list, but one can try. :)
I'm not really celebrating i guess? i have been busy with teacher appreciation week... I imagine they're probably doing something in the classroom with it but i haven't had anything come home about it. my kids do read to me but that's part of their homework everyday. :)
Celebrating this hop! Thanks for the giveaway! I am participating as well (#60 ~ Fairday's Blog!) Have a great night : ) ~ Jess http://thesecretdmsfilesoffairdaymorrow.blogspot.com/
I read to my daughter every night and she is just starting to learn to read herself. I am very exited about that. I want to raise her to be a book worm like her mommy. I have come across a couple of great new kiddies books that I will be adding to her book case this month.
by snatching my niece's books and reading them! Actually, it's re-reading. The books were mine (Enid Blyton's Famous Five!) - they were quite old and I gave the incomplete series to them just so I could introduce them to a world of reading. Re-reading the books are really nostalgic!
I'm going to buy a couple of books for my niece. She's turning into a TV hound with Max & Ruby cartoons and some other stuff on the Treehouse channel, so I want to see if I can counteract that.
I am celebrating by reading as much as possible. Literally, as much as possible! Also by entering some of the giveaways and spreading the word about the Hop. Thanks for participating in a great Hop!
we celebrate childrens books every day!! I love reading to my kids! They get two stories for nap time and two for bed time. Yah their spoiled lol but I love it just as much as they do!

Wow, that was a long time ago. A little girl who came to visit her grandmother , who lived down the street from me, in the summertime. I think her name was Marlene. We were both about 8.
Well, it is a bit funny. When I was little I had a huge crush on Steve Martin....lol. Ha I still do....he is my old guy crush! Thanks for the giveaway :D GFC:aprildan01
I had a crush on my sister's friend's brother. Don't remember his name. We were both in kindergarten and lived in the same neighborhood. He thought I didn't like him because I never said anything to him, even when he tried to talk to me. But I was just painfully shy! lol :p
My first crush wow thats hard to remember, but I know in fifth grade I really like this boy who played basketball and I watched the guys plays with my friends. He eventually became my first boyfriend for two years and we are still friends to this day.
I had a crush on my brother's best friend for the longest time, like all through elementary school. His name was Ryan and he helped me perfect my cursive handwriting.
Oh geez, first crush...I feel like there was probably one in elementary school, but the first one I'm remembering a name for was eons ago in 6th grade, and it was a celeb crush: Elijah Wood, LOL!
My first crush was when I was in preschool. I always used to watch soap operas whenever my mom and I happened to be in the same right, so I was crushing hard on one of the characters!
Ha. I love the giveaway question! Thanks! My first crush was a boy in kindergarden. Now that I think of it, I think he used to cry all the time because he missed his mom. I must have thought that was sweet.
My first crush was a boy named Scott M. in 4th grade I think. It took a while for me to notice boys, but once I did I had crush after crush on different boys...
My first crush was my dads friend! I was 4 and he was about 30.... Needless to say it didn't work out ;) But I use to chase him around trying to kiss his cheek.
My first crush was my best friend in elementary. I crushed on him for a couple of years but I was a serious tomboy, in 6th grade he said he only liked me as a friend.
My first crush was my best friend in kindergarten, his name was Edwin:) He was so cute... I loved his eyes, I always told my mom that his eyes were really pretty because they were blue!
OMG is it funny that I still remember (HA). It was in elementry and my teacher had asked me to get somthing from the other teacher next door and I new he was in that class so I didn't want to go his name was Jeremy H. He even lived a street away from me (I wonder what ever happen to him)
My first crush was my best friend at the time. I think it was the first grade, his name was Michael. We were only friends until the 4th grade and then we drifted apart... I have no idea what happened to him lol. My first celebrity crush was Devon Sawa!!
Probably the first first first first one was this boy in second grade. It was really cute. I kissed him on the cheek once and he blushed about it. We held hands sometimes. But mostly, we played tag and pretended we were Animaniacs.
