2. STATIONERY - wh smith

I thought I would share some of 2015/16 diaries spotted in WH Smith last week. The highlights from the range include sausage dogs wearing various patterned clothes, sweet birds on a ruled notepaper background, and black & white flowers interspersed with the odd flouro yellow one.

5. TEXTILES - marimekko

Today I wanted to post a colourful summery print as we experience a heatwave hear in the UK. Prints don't come much bolder and more colourful than those at Marimekko where you will currently find Sitruunapuu, which i believe translates from Finnish as Citrus. 9. KIDS DESIGN - goosebumps

I came across the Goosebumps brand at online store Howkapow and wanted to find out a bit more. Founded in Australia in 2014 Goosebumps was created by Inga Rodd, a Melbourne based designer. Inga's prints are inspired by her own twin boys, childhood memories and quirky design. The Roar design with leopards, tigers and zebras caught my eye for its modern yet timeless feel. 10. PAPERCHASE - latest snapshots

Today on Print & Pattern is all about Paperchase. I have picked out some new arrivals such as these fun lunch bags featuring wild animals, robots and rows of cute characters. Also look out for new dinosaur designs, cat burglars, a kitchen stationery print, plus a striking mid century style geometric on a pencil case and plenty of new notebooks.

12. PAPERCHASE - back to school

Both of today's discoveries were made as a result of a flying visit into The Conran Shop to look for a present.  Whilst there I came across some notebooks by French studio Papier Tigre. 14. CARDS & WRAP - katie leamon

My second Conran Shop discovery was Katie Leamon after seeing her neon and kraft cards lined up on the card department shelf. Based in London this luxury card & stationery brand uses Katie's love of typography and illustration to produce timeless designs.
