1. CARDS ETC - jane farnham

These are the latest products in from Jane Farnham created for her Etsy shop, including new Christmas Cards, a Sewing Machine tote bag, tea towels and notebooks. Jane is surface pattern designer and maker based in Hertfordshire and she is also a designer for Camelot Fabrics.

2. ONLINE STORE - kidsdinge

Talking of cards I found some really cute ones at online shop KidsDinge. This fun shop for children's goods has cards by Bora,and Darling Clementine as well as fun bit from Ellen Giggenbach for Djeco and lovely French label Mini Labo. KidsDinge is based in The Netherlands so it has a European feel that will appeal to lots of design conscious parents.

3. WALL ART - patrick edgeley

Patrick Edgeley has produced a new series of art prints using his hand drawn retro illustrations. Patrick collects vintage packaging and his love of reto typography and pop culture inspires his work. Based in Brighton and Hove all Patrick prints are hand printed limited editions. His work has previously sold in Heals and he has designed for Joseph Joseph. As seen online here.

4. BOOK - merrilee liddiard

I spotted on the fabulous Mer Mag blog - created by Merilee Liddiard, that she has released a new book based on her wonderful  kids design projects. Called 'Playful' it will feature lots of Merilee's ideas for things to make for children to play with. Largely made from cardboard, duck tape and paint there is sure to be something inspirational for everyone on her website and in the new Playful

5. KIDS DESIGN - primark

Our next post today features a different aspect of kids design from Merrilee's with these prints and placements snapped in Primark. These owls on scarves really stood out to me as great mix of an old fave (the owl motif) mixed with the latest trend for tribal style.

7. KIDS DESIGN - boden AW14

Their have been some fabulous new print arrivals at Mini Boden this Autumn. I love this colourful woodland scene (above & below) but there are so many colourful flower and bird prints this season I couldn't stop posting all the lovely images. 9. FABRICS - tamara kate

Tamara Kate's latest fabric collection for Michael Miller has just starting shipping to stores. Called 'Origami Oasis' the range was Inspired by an afternoon Tamara spent with her daughter making a menagerie of origami creatures. She wanted to create "a world of wonders where diamonds decorate fantastical birds, flowers form animals' manes and where it's ok to be a little wild". Tamara's idea

10. NEW SEASON - kapitza

Design Studio Kapitza, famous for their colourful geometric designs have launched their first product collection. The range features cushions. iPad sleeves and make-up bags which have all been hand made in the UK. The collection is available exclusively from the Kapitza shop and at selected concept stores.

Lily of The Lily Pink Studio works from her little cottage in Wales with her adorable dog by her side. Lily has five years industry experience and a degree in surface pattern design. 13. ORLA KIELY - for monoprix france

Orla Kiely recently released a collaboration with French retailer Monoprix (which I read all about at French blog Earmimi.) And as of 17th September French shoppers have been able see Orla's specially designed products in Monoprix stores. One of the highlights has to be a new baby clothing line which is something I don't believe we have ever seen from Orla before.

17. BOOK DESIGN - leanne shapton

These prettily patterned book jackets were designed by writer and illustrator Leanne Shapton for a new Vintage Classics Austen series. Leanne tried to correspond her prints with each story and ensure that the pattern motifs feel appropriate for Jane Austen's work. 19. DESIGNERS - muffin & marianne

These are the very sweet illustrations of Muffin & Marianne a design studio based in Oslo. Founded in 2006 by designers Heidi Mittun-Kjos and Marianne Andresen the duo produce cards, gifts and illustrations. The designs shown above and below are from their 2015 family calendar. 20. NEW SEASON - sian elin

Designer Sian Elin has unveiled her new Autumn Winter collection consisting of four new striking designs that building on her well-established East meets West fabric range. Prints include her Rosette Tile design has been re-worked in warm coral and Agra a black and white design inspired by floor tiles in the city of Agra. You can see more from Sian Elin online here.

21. STORE SNAPS - totnes

I have recently been on holiday in Devon and popped into the lovely town of Totnes which has a really cute high street full of independent shops. Here are some of the snap shots I took in stores such as Gazebo,  Penelope Tom and Paperworks. If you are ever in Devon then Totnes is a great place to visit and I can see why designers such as Jane Foster and Alice Apple chose to make it their home.

22. DESIGN LABEL - seasalt

Something else I discovered in Totnes was the Cornish label Seasalt. The business was founded in Cornwall 1981 but it wasn't until 2003 that they began to design their own exclusive prints. Their patterns feature lots of boats, Cornish flowers, and Seaside themes and are created in-house by designers Sophie Chadwick and Laura Watson. Flower House is the brand new collection by Greta Songe. 25. FASHION PRINTS - primark

And finally today I am rounding off with a few fashion snapshots of various prints spotted in Primark. Those that stood out on my visit were mostly geometrics and as they were taken whilst on my P&P break capture the end of their summer 14 collection.
