Tiny Dancer is an ACEO or "Artist, Cards, Editions, Originals" and the only rule for them is that they're 2.5" x 3.5". ACEO's can be any medium but just need to be that size. There are lots of ACEO sites. More of my artwork can be seen on my website and my Etsy shop

7. "Horse Love" by Linda T Snider-Ward, Louisiana artist

Horse Love is painted from my reference photos after attending a horse show nearby. This sweet little girl seemed to have such a connection with her horse. The painting turned out a bit too sweet, but I enjoyed painting it. More of my artwork can be seen on my website and my Etsy shop

8. "Mustang Holding Pen" by Linda T Snider Ward, Louisiana artist

Mustang Holding Pen is painted from my reference photos taken at a mustang auction. It was pretty depressing to see all those beautiful horses crowded together in holding pens. Hopefully, they all went to great homes. More of my artwork can be seen on my website and my Etsy shop

11. "Plein Air, Cambria" by Linda T Snider-Ward, Louisiana artist

Plein Air, Cambria was painted last fall in Cambria, CA, while meeting up with old friends. It was a wonderful feeling to sit on a big rock, listen to the ocean, and try painting what was in front of me. More of my artwork can be seen on my website and my Etsy shop

13. "Imaginary Things" by Linda T Snider-Ward, Louisiana artist

Imaginary Things is part of a series of watercolor "thing" paintings. The paintings are created from my mind but often end up looking like something recognizable. This piece looks like seaweed and shells, washed up on the shore. More of my artwork can be seen on my website and my Etsy shop

16. A Gathering of Friends by Linda T Snider-Ward

detail of a larger watercolor (15" x 22") that I've been struggling with for several weeks. Just about the time I think it's coming together, it isn't! I always have several pieces going at once, and will return to this one soon.

17. Plein Air Ponies by Linda T Snider-Ward

Plein Air Ponies is a small (8" x 8") watercolor done on site a few weeks ago. The horses, of course, moved constantly, so it was difficult to get a good drawing of them, but it was fun.

If you're a watercolorist and would like to join this site and share your watercolor efforts, send me a link to your blog or website, and I'll add you to this blog (see left side bar for rules).

19. Gardening in the Jungle!

Gardening is what I have been doing! Trying to win over the jungle that is growing in place of an organized garden. That and working full time. Painting is a joy that sometimes gets squeezed out in the summer :)

20. tropical wedding paradise!

Getting married is what I've been up to! This is the illustration I created for our "Save the date", using washes and drop shadows for a collage effect.
The scene reflects the moment of my proposal on the same Mozambican beach on which we had our ceremony.
20 points to the first person to say which species our dogs are :)

21. Bird ACEO

This little ACEO (Artist Cards Editions & Originals) is an original watercolor and ink pen from a series of ACEO bird drawings. Most of you already know, but for those who don't, an ACEO can be created in any media but it must be 2.5" x 3.5" (or 3.5" x 2.5"). I love to create them and challenge myself with a number to create or by sticking to a certain theme.
If you haven't already, take a look at www.lindaolafsdottir.com
Linda Olafsdottir is SCBWI's July/August Bulletin's "selected artist" for that issue. She has some amazing illustrations. I especially love her drawings of children--very natural & beautifully drawn.

25. White Hearts

White Hearts is part of my Daily Something series, meaning to do "something artful" daily. These little drawings help me think while I'm working on larger pieces, usually watercolor.
