Studio Tour invitation....it's this coming weekend!

...a new painting for studio tour....I like it...

...painting, painting, painting, ordering, creating.....this year's studio tour is going to be absolutely terrific!...paintings of all sizes, illustrations, greeting cards, shopping bags and best of all....my first illustrated children's book....twinkle lights, flowers, pumpkins, gourds, goodies surrounded by whimsical silly artwork...cool

so....I've seen my share of some creepy critters at the cottage...first...too many green snakes...and a northern ringnecked snake...I was told that I'm lucky to have seen that one...while swimming in Lake Huron on the weekend a Garpike decided to swim between a friend and I.... I had to scream...we've had our share of spiders, moths, bats and bugs...I'm thinking that the Garpike needs to be drawn...I'll post that one soon...yuck to all the critters!

well it's the day after my birthday...it ended with fireworks at the lake...it was wonderful...we're all a teenie bit tired today...but might go see the new Harry Potter movie tonight...tomorrow we're heading to Keady Farmer's Market early in the morning...we'll see what that brings...can't wait..

I've lost my mind...I got the kids two slices of brownie pizza with whipped cream at 10am this morning!...2 Chicks Coffee Shop's slushies weren't frozen..ugh...they are on a major sugar high...should be great shopping with them this morning...they'll crash while were in line to pay for something...

...another great sunny day..surprisingly...three in a row for us...

....I'm working on a new painting of my new character and a seagull on the beach...it's coming together really nicely...love the colours...very beachy....and relaxed...not as much craziness going on...yet...will post soon...over and out...

...back playing in the sand...we built a volleyball court and had a tremendous beach day...the waves were so large and strong that Jack lost his bathing suit...first time ever...it was quite the scene....kite sailors were out today..the wind was excellent for them...really cool how they fly through the air and skim so quickly across the lake...it was awesome to see...

...me and Georgia Mae baking cookies at the cottage....we're so impatient!

...we're home...kids are at hockey camp, they'll have a ball....I'm in the studio getting canvasses ready to paint...Supertramp is loud in the background...no distractions...however, I'm missing the sound of the waves...funny...but of course the sun is out at the cottage and it's warm and we're not there...the Bender's have left and the warm weather has appeared...always the way...

well...I'm desperate...I'm sitting in a parking lot stealing someone's wireless connection...what artist's will do to get work done!....I'm working on some new paintings which I'm quite happy with...the lemons look terrific...smooth pudding like paint...and the cats are very humourous...I think they will be a great addition to the studio tour this October...
