1. The Sunday Post–May 13th Edition

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba of The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.  This is a weekly meme where we can share news of the week and highlight new books received.

I have decided to jump onboard with Kimba’s Sunday Posts, because I like the chatty factor that she has introduced to the book haul meme.

Yesterday I spent most of the day fiddling with my blog template after a fatal hiccup with the old one, which I had been using for YEARS.  It was hard to let it go, but after searching around and looking at new themes, I do like the one that I picked out.  I even learned a lot about widgets, which I hadn’t used in the past.  I like them.  A lot.  If you notice anything wonky about the site, please let me know.

I just finished reading When You Were Mine by Rebecca Serle, which was an unsolicited review copy.  I love getting these, because I wouldn’t have picked the book up otherwise, and I would have missed out on a treat.  I couldn’t put it down, and I was so irritated that I had to set it aside to tinker with my blog theme.  I will be giving this re-telling of Romeo and Juliet away soon, so check back and enter the contest if you are interested in this engrossing read!

I haven’t shared a book haul in a while, and I have lost track of some of the books I bought/received, but here are some of the highlights.
