5. Can't talk about this:

You may have caught the Pigeon's Tweet about this... Last week I returned to my old stomping grounds at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC to mess around and workshop a potential new theater piece starring a pachyderm and a swine. Really can't say much more about this except that we had great fun and it's turning out to be even more fun than Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical* was.

6. Some nice reviews & thanks to you...

I'm back from  a week of work (more on that later) to some nice reviews about the upcoming picture book GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE DINOSAURS AS RETOLD BY MO WILLEMS. 7. PW Loves GOLDILOCKS & THE 3 DINOSAURS!

The old mail bag had a great treat in it recently: my preview copy of GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE DINOSAURS as retold by Mo Willems! It's always great to have the final book in your hands.  So different from the drawings, screens, and printouts.  This one came out extra nice, thanks to the fine folks at Harper. Publishers Weekly loved it, giving my latest effort a starred review and saying:

My new picture book, GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE DINOSAURS as retold by Mo Willems, will hit the shelves on September 4th. The following week, I will be hitting the road across the nation to read the story, meet folks, and sign books. If you're in the area, please come by to say 'hello'. It's been a while since I've shown any of our dining room chalk board wall doodles or sketches on the paper table clothes.
