1. My YALLWEST schedule, and a new short story

Yes, I, along with thousands of other authors, am headed to Santa Monica this weekend for YALLWEST! Or maybe it only seems like thousands. Anyway, it’s going to be a good time. We’ll see how long I last before my inevitable introvert meltdown, but I’m going to have some fun before that moment comes!

You can find the whole schedule here, but here’s a shortcut to finding me:

Sat 4 p.m.: LOVE IN THE TIME OF RIGHT NOW – Gallery – Modern love: The angst, the joys, the Netflix and chill. Moderated by Siobhan Vivian, with Adi Alsaid, Jennifer Armentrout, Jessi Kirby, yours truly, and Nicola Yoon

Sun 1 p.m.: CREATIVE LIFE & WRITING ADVICE  – Tent – The creative life ain’t easy! Writers share tips and tricks to keep going. Moderated by me, with Jennifer Bosworth, Debra Driza, Michelle Gagnon, Tamara Ireland Stone

Signing: Saturday at 3 and Sunday at noon

In othimage-230x300er news, I’ve got a new short story out in Relief Journal issue 8.2, available for purchase here, and maybe available in other formats down the line.

And, it’s true, still no new podcasts. Right now I’m more in a writing/creating mode than a talking about writing/creating mode, and those modes don’t always co-exist well for me. I’m going to follow my heart on this one and we’ll see what happens!
