The Amanda the Angel Series is a collection of short stories about an angel that I have cre-ated and published for my young readers. This angel is known as Amanda. The purpose of my books is to give children encouragement and to let them know they are not alone. God is there and has placed angels around them to watch over them. The name Amanda, came from my first born child, Amanda Leigh Kubus. She was with our family for a very short time, for she was born with a birth defect known as Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia or CDH. She is our little angel. To learn more about this birth defect and help make a difference, please view CHERUBS - The Association of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research, Awareness and Support. At the end of these stories the readers will see, what I call, a summarized poetic finish. Poetry is what I first enjoyed writing as a young child and I love to take each story to rebuild it into Poetry at the end.
You will also see available, an autobiography published by my father, Michael T. Goskowski. Michael shares his understanding of his life and others as the same way God had given four seasons. His aggressiveness and optimistic attitude to the future kept him looking forward to new heights. Feel his struggles, but more importantly, feel his strength in his faith in God and dedication to his family.
