I enjoy the Kindle Touch, but its web browsing is practically nonexistent. Since I don't have a smartphone, the Fire would be a useful substitute.

I'd love to win the kindle fire because I have an old Sony ereader and it is going out. With the fire, I can go on line and download all the free kindle books out thru Amazon. I have seen sooo many free books for kindle and would like to be able to read all of them without having to do it on the desktop at my job.

My husband and I are celebrating our one year anniversary on the 30th of this month. He is a wonderful man who works everyday, six, seven days straight 12 hour shifts so that I can stay home with our four month old baby boy. In 2005 I lost my baby girl to a genetic disorder at only 16 months old. That this amazing man is doing everything he can to make it possible for me to spend day in and day out with my baby boy means the world to me. I also have a nine year old that I get to watch grow everyday. I would love to be able to give him a wonderful gift like an ereader but when we have any extra money we get things for the kiddos. As it is here lately there has been no extra. I did manage to get him the book that he has been wanting for a while. It is so wonderful that you give people a chance to win such wonderful gifts. These are great products and I read every day. I love that you can do so much with the Fire (read, watch videos, email, social media, games, and so much more.

i read my Amazon purchases & freebies on my Kindle for PC or Kindle Cloud Reader. it's not very convenient but it's the best i can do at the moment. winning a Kindle Fire would solve this dilemma. i can then read with gusto plus i can easily take it anywhere i go.

I'd LOVE to win Kindle Fire because I don't have one. The only format I read is pdf and it's hard for me to read on my laptop. I'd like it to be handy, especially, most of the books I read are ebooks. I think it will be easy also whenever I'm approved to review ebooks (esp from Netgalley).

My daughter is now a sophomore in college and I really want to get her one so that she can lighten her load. So many of the books are available in ebook and I remember how heavy my bags were carrying all those books. Plus the Fire has so much more to give her while waiting in between classes.

I want a kindle to make my reading life easier. I read more than 1 book at a time, and hauling paperbacks everywhere is not an easy thing.

So I can carry my books easily with me when I go to my many doctors appointments and to entertain me when it hurts to much to even move.

So I can have all my favorite books with me wherever I go! :)

I never read any more because I don't live close to a library anymore and books are too expensive to buy. Having a kindle I can rent from the library and get books for cheap.

I have been using the Kindle App on my PC, but am told that Kindle has some advantages, though I will still buy books.

I would love to win a Kindle Fire because I have spent the better part of the last 4 months reading books on the Kindle app on my android phone (think of the 2" X 3 1/2" screen compared to a 7" diagonal).
