Hello friends, Happy February! It's been a chilly week here in the city. So instead of being out and about, I've cozied up in my studio and worked on these Valentine's Day cards while watching romantic comedies, of course :) My all-time favorites are My Best Friend's Wedding, Something's Gotta Give and How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days. Absolutely LOVE and can never get tired of watching them. What are yours?

First craft show of the year with my new licensing rep, Mary Beth, from Pink Light Studio. How exciting! If you happen to be going, Mary Beth, will be in Booth 1146 in the licensing and design section!

A very belated but ever so Happy New Years wishes to all of you! I hope you had a blast and got lots of down time. And, yes hanging / partying with the family is considered down time ;) Well... I am more prepared for this year than I ever have been thanks to Jessica Swift's 2013 Goal kit. I just completed it and feeling oh so organized and excited for the year! In one of the worksheets, you get to figure out your word/ theme for the year and my word for 2013 is BRAVE! So here's to a braver artist, creator, blogger, friend and life! Wishing all of you the same. 

Hello friends! It's been an interesting year for me here in the city. Lots of ups and a few downs but I've managed to get through it all with a smile :) Plus, I'm finally feeling like a New Yorker hehe :)Thank you so much for all of you who visit and leave comments now and again. Hello! I am so excited to announce that I will NOW be licensing my work! Woohoo!!! That means, not only will I be attending Surtex this year, but I'll also be selling my designs. I've had this as one of my 2012 goals and I finally signed with Mary Beth, from Pink Light Studio! She is a very talented and successful woman, so I have no doubt that we'll make a great team. I will be posting new and exciting projects on here as they come along. For now, here's a write up about Pink Light Studio (showcasing one of my newer pieces) on Art Buyer Mag, the best resource for art & design licensing. Does the yellow owl look familiar hee hee? ;)

Merry, merry to all of you! With the holiday season also comes the gift giving season, so the girls and I from We Love To Illustrate are giving our blog readers three-dementional gingerbread houses. You can print all six and display them on a shelf or mantel or they can be hung as ornaments for you tree. Here's my contribution... enjoy!

Hello friends! I have a little something special to share with you today. My friend Shivani from My Owl Barn has put together an adorable Owl Lovers 2013 Calendar! The calendar is a collaboration between My Owl Barn and over 40 very talented artists from around the world, including my dear friend, Cally Johnson-Isaacs, from We Love To Illustrate.

The calendar is completely customizable, so you can select which ever owl image you want to print for which ever month. How cool is that!? Shavini has also created a pre-made version that you can download and print. I can wait to create my very own Owl Lover 2013 Calendar! Enjoy and happy owl-ing hehe ;)
