*************************** Un par de descubrimientos en la feria este año han sido el ilustrador polaco Janusz Stanny y el húngaro János Kass. Las dos últimas fotos son de un ilustrador checo pero desgraciadamente se me olvidó apuntar el nombre :(Echadle un vistazo a este bonito corto "Mi madre es un avión" de la ilustradora rusa Yu Aronova (via the art room plant).
One of the best things about attending the Bologna Book Fair is the city itself. This year the sun was barely present but the rain was. That doesn't stop me from enjoying coffee, the company of colleagues and books.
This year I got back home without buying a single book but I bought two beautiful artichokes perfect to draw and afterwards I've eaten.
Ah! I also brought home a cold, this is why I posted so late about Bologna.

Una de las mejores cosas de asistir a la Feria del Libro de Bolonia es la misma ciudad de Bolonia. Este año el sol casi no estuvo presente pero sí la lluvia. Eso no impidió disfrutar del café, de la compañía de los colegas y de los libros. Este año conseguí volver sin haber comprado ni un sólo libro pero me compré dos preciosas alcachofas perfectas para dibujar y que luego me comí. Ah! También me traje un resfriado, a esto se debe que postee tan tarde sobre Bolonia.

This week was the last class of my pottery workshop. This is the walk to the school I do. Only to look the school from outside, makes you want to enter to learn something. I really like the building. The class is in the basement, so you have to go down and pass several heavy security doors.You can feel the heat and smell of dry earth that I love. I had no time paint all the pieces as I wanted so I did an experiment with a black glaze that after I started to scratch... we will see results in a week! ****************************************************
Esta semana ha sido la última clase de mi curso de cerámica. Este es el paseo que hago hasta la escuela, que tan solo con verla por fuera dan ganas de entrar a aprender algo. Me gusta el edificio.La clase de cerámica es en el sótano, así que hay que bajar y pasar varias puertas pesadas de seguridad. Se nota el calor y una especie de olor a tierra seca que me gusta.No tuve tiempo de pintar todas las piezas como quería así que hice un experimento con un esmalte negro que luego rallé.... en una semana recogeré el resultado!
