Luke Feldman, the creator of Skaffs, is an Australian artist that creates for a multitude of platforms. Inspired by childhood experiences and a vivid imagination, his illustrations and animations are minimalist, with defined lines, detailed characters, and intensely vibrant colours.

Luke’s vast technical experience and skills developed working in numerous mediums. Having studied Visual Arts and Multimedia in Australia and having worked in the gaming, Department of Education and animation industry, his work ranges from children’s book illustrations, computer animation, Flash interactives, website design and functionality, character design, installations and advertising. While the scope of his work is extensive, it is bound together through his unique and dynamic style; a style that has led to a number of awards, exhibitions and collaborations with high profile companies (movie studios to soft drink giants).

He has been featured in numerous art and culture publications, and international design magazines such as Desktop, Contagious, Staf and DPi. He has exhibited worldwide including a 2008 Los Angeles exhibition with Dr Seuss to mark the launch of the “Horton Hears a Who” film. He was a finalist in the DeskTop Create Awards illustration competition, San Francisco Cut & Paste live illustration competition, Addicting Games Flash game design competition and a finalist in the International Independent Film Festival at Comic Con, just to name a few. His SKAFFS product line includes popular skate decks, giant vinyl adhesives, t-shirts and collectors toys.
