I'm a professional editor who has worked both in-house (as a managing ed., copy chief, senior ed., etc.) and as a freelance since 1980.

I was part of Hyperion Books for Children's startup team, back in the early 1990s.

I'm the published author of several picture books, the first of which--FROM BED TO BUS (Macmillan)--was a Children's Choice for 1986. Haven't written in more than a decade. Perhaps I'll be inspired.

I freelance for both adult trade and juvenile books divisions for several NYC houses.
