About John
John Ward was born in Clydebank, raised in Perth, schooled in Dundee and went to Edinburgh University where he studied philosophy and literature before qualifying as an English teacher. He taught at the Royal High School from 1979 to 1987 then moved to Inverness College where he taught till 1999 when he became a full-time writer.
