I live with my husband, David Wynn Millward - artist and painter, in an ancient converted watermill in Wales.
We have three children the youngest of whom is an illustrator. Gwen Millward.
I have been writing for twenty five years and formerly worked for the BBC tv children's programme, Jackanory.
I have written approximately 45 books.
