Hawkwood Books publishes full length fiction for all ages, no picture books or non-fiction. We are a small venture with a limited list but we are not a vanity press and would not charge you for any aspect of the publishing process. However, there is absolutely no guarantee that published books will be distributed through retailers. You should most certainly try agents and mainstream publishers before submitting manuscripts here. If, after all this, you still would like to try, please follow these guidelines: 1. Send no more than the first 30 pages 2. Enclose a brief synopsis 3. If you want the manuscript returned, enclose correctly priced SAE 4.
