I'm a published poet and and a children's writer with a first novel making the rounds.

My poetry -- which is published under my maiden name, Erin Noteboom -- has won the CBC Canadian Literary Award, an open national award whose previous winners include Michael Ondaatje and Carol Shields, and several other awards. My two books are GHOST MAPS and SEAL UP THE THUNDER.

My children's writing is (oh, I hope!) soon to make its debut. My novel PLAIN KATE is making the rounds, with the help of my wonderful agent, Emily at Pippin Properties. I hope my retelling of SIR GAWAINE AND THE GREEN KNIGHT will be next. I blog about my adventures in publishing at erinbow.livejournal.com

I'm also mom to Vivi, who's three, and Nora, who's a baby, and a wife to James, who writes YA novels of his own. We're a booky, geeky, happy house.
