Charlie Fisher is an orphan and all he's ever dreamt of is having a real family of his own, a place he can call home. He passes his time engrossed in tales of i'QUrthia told to him by the orphanages groundskeeper, Liam. Tales so bizarre it sparks in Charlie the desire to write a story of his own. On the night of his eleventh birthday a storm is brewing and Charlie has made plans to meet Liam on the fourth floor of the orphanage so that he can read his story aloud. When Charlie arrives Liam is nowhere to be found. Strange events begin to unfold and soon Charlie learns that i'QUrthia is far more real than he ever imagined and an evil long thought destroyed is attempting to be reborn.
