	glitterjen said: I adore Beverly Cleary, and have recently been on a kick re-reading her 'teen' books- this one was especially amusing. What I so admire about these books is the way in which Clearly captured the era- late 1950s- with admittedly a poignant innocence lost in contemporary teen fiction, but she also has a naturalistic style.
