Every once in a while there is a story that makes one wonder if someone has whispered it into the ear of the writer from beyond. When reading The Moon Creeper it will kindle memories of stories told around camp fires, and of Native American Folklore. The Moon Creeper is very imaginative and here is what the author says inspired her to write it: My idea for The Moon Creeper came about by seeing an old twisted tree with gnarled branches. I wondered what would happen if a little furry creature called a Creeper climbed the tree hoping to catch star dust." - Monique Howard
