It all began when a little Yellow Nape Parrot arrived at the family pet shop in one of the weekly deliveries, and soon worked his way into the hearts of the owners and their five children, who decided to adopt him as a special feathered member of the family.
They named him CluckCluck because he made a funny clucking sound in his throat when he was excited or nervous.
CluckCluck could talk up a storm and had the most beautiful singing voice that would put most opera stars to shame.
He proved to be far superior to any watchdog or security system. The minute anyone approached the home, by foot or motor vehicle, he immediately began his vocal or musical repertoire.
Little did the family know that CluckCluck�s keen sense of hearing would foil the plans of an attempted burglary at their home and land him in court with a subpoena as the key witness in the attempted foiled burglary. (Yes you read this correctly. Read the story to the end and you will understand the truth of this story.)
Cluck Cluck knew he was smart. He could talk and sing. But when the subpoena was delivered to a Polly Parrot Smith to testify in court, and he heard his human family talking about the situation at hand, he knew he was in trouble! He learned to say, Ohboyohboyohboy, reciting it over and over again after hearing Billy tell him that he was in big trouble.
Follow this fun-filled tale based on a true story, as CluckCluck has his day in court and is able to convince the judge that the defendant was guilty as charged and justice was served by standing silent on the 5th amendment.
