12/8/2007 Marva Dasef said: I'm the author and I'm afraid I have no idea who Jeanne Mellin is. She certainly didn't illustrate this book. I guess this is a glitch. Oh, yeah. The book is about a kid, but people who actually lived during the Depression era or grew up on a farm really enjoy the stories.
