From the supplier: Cooperative child care is an affordable alternative to traditional day care services. The system involves the collaboration of at least four families with young children. Parents from these families take turns in sharing the child care responsibilities with a paid caregiver. However, even though the arrangement is suitable for working parents, it requires constant personal communications to come up with a mutually acceptable style of parenting. Children from these cooperative care settings are observed also to develop good social skills at school.
