Colin McNaughton's first book was published in 1976 while he was a student at the Royal College of Art in London, and some eighty books have since followed. McNaughton is now a highly acclaimed author and illustrator of children's books and a winner of many awards all over the world, including the IRA Children's Choice award, the Parents' Choice award, and the NCTE Notable Children's Trade Book in the Language Arts. He lives in London.
