The book explains basic Chinese grammar with examples that a young child can understand. Age 4+. About the author: Sholeen Lou-Hsiao is the creator of an award-winning board game KINGKA. While demonstrating her game to hundreds of educators, children and parents around the US, she received many interesting questions that inspired her to write this series. "She Talks Funny" is the first book of this "Walk and Learn" series. About the Illustrator: Mrinali Alvarez has worked as an illustrator for newspapers, magazines and books for over a decade, with more than 20 titles to her credit, some of which she has written or co-authored. She has received many awards for her work from the Society of News Design, Latino Book Awards, Unesco Chapter for Puerto Rico, and PEN Club of Puerto Rico, among others.
