She Is Still My Mom! offers a warm military based story of how a young boy deals with the news that his mother suffered a limb loss while serving overseas. His family finds a way for him to learn about limb loss, the making of new limbs, what the recovery process is and how it will affect all of their lives. In the process he makes a few new friends for life. The book is designed to represent any branch of the service at any point in time.
