Will Erik or Marco date her? Which adults does she respect? And finally, what kind of woman does she want to become? Mrs. Howar, Mrs. Chappel, Reggie Postle and her mother have all helped her get this far. As the year proceeds with all its activities-the last Thanksgiving Day Game as a student, the Christmas Festival and Dance, tennis season with the girls, Senior Awards Assembly, the Prom, and finally Graduation night-Jamie continues her searching. In the midst of these activities, a terrible event affects the life of the school, impacting Jamie especially. Through this, she comes to a knowledge of herself and the kind of adult she chooses to become.
