It seems that the gun, buried for 55 years, just may be the weapon used to murder schoolmaster Gus Steiner, the former owner of Margo's property. The puzzling murder leads Margo and her sidekick Roxie into the world of the past, where one-room schoolhouses and strict disciplinarians prevailed. But at every turn, someone in the community attempts to thwart the investigation. Margo must unravel a complex web of deceit and conspiracy if she wants to uncover the dark secrets behind Steiner's death and stay alive in the process.
