Every year, a team of ex-NHLers, including such legends as Bobby Hull, Tiger Williams, and Frank Mahovlich, travel around Canada playing and raising money for charity. Known as the Oldtimers or Legends of Hockey, they receive the kind of attention that Mario Lemieux and Paul Kariya get today. An award-winning writer joined the team for the trip-and we can come along too, on a rollicking and riveting tour as they travel to the smallest, unlikeliest hockey outposts, and large cities too.
