The Green Knight is the story of one boy's courage to stand up to the school bully and deal with the death of his father. It alludes to the classical story Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Royce Campbell, the hero, finds a magical green axe and is transported back in time to King Arthur's famous Round Table. It is the Christmas season, and young Royce finds himself sitting in the place of the brave Sir Gawain. As Royce eyes the beautiful queen next to him, a huge green knight rides into the hall atop a green horse and challenges one of King Arthur's knights to chop off his head with a green axe. Royce steps up to take the challenge and inadvertently destroys King Arthur's court. Will Royce be able to repair the damage he has caused and regain Sir Gawain's honor?
