G A E L E N: princess - rebel - warrior There was a time of which little is known, a strange time, a dark time. A time when savagery enveloped all of Europe. Gaelen was born during that time to a northern pagan native queen and a southern Christian king. Born into the ignorance of the darkest era of the Dark Ages, she matured in a world constantly at war, to become a rebel warrior princess when only the strongest, most ruthless men ruled for long. Still not much more than a child she was to try to carve out her kingdom in an era of kings and chiefs, fiefdoms and tribalism. She was to try to take and hold when numerous warring tribes, with swords in hand, waged close merciless battles throughout the realm.
