Amaranthus is a story about the ever-powerful magic of love. Reaching across time and endless boundaries, a mysterious woman brings this healing magic to a small child and her family. To do so, she tells tale of her beloved homeland, Amaran. Amaran has been invaded by an evil and ruthless king. He and his forces of brutish Slyspites have enslaved the land. But Amaranthus and his followers refuse to give in to tyranny and oppression. They continue to fight against all odds to regain their homeland. It soon becomes a race against time and treachery, when tragic events push them to open confrontation before they're ready. Powerful forces collide as the final struggle begins. Other forces are at work a world away as well, as a family strives to find their way back into each other's hearts. Shattered dreams and broken hearts are mended once again forever.
