She misses out on all kinds of fun things because she is afraid, but on a summer vacation to her grandparents' llama farm, she discovers a new strength within herself. When Gracie finds that she can speak to one of the llamas, she is plunged into a magical world in which anything can happen. She and her new friend, Lucy the llama, go on a wild adventure to uncover the meaning of their amazing gift of speech. They meet the keeper of the Great Forest, who has magically summoned them to help her stop a poacher from destroying the land and killing the animals. As the two little adventurers trust their hearts and face their fears, they discover that the true meaning of a warrior is one who is willing to face unknown danger for the good of others.
