Created with young kids in mind, this little number book provides an easy, yet fundamental learning experience for children. The foundation to the My Little Book of Numbers series, this first book teaches kids to count in English and Spanish from 0-20. The other books in the series build on this foundation and take kids all the way to 100. Kids gain a good grasp of essentials and get a head start in learning a second language. Each book in the series comes with headphones and an audio CD that teaches kids correct pronunciation. The personal headphone set makes the book great for the classroom setting; it allows several kids to work simultaneously at the same level or at different levels. While a great activity for parents to do with their children, the series is conveniently designed to allow children to learn unassisted and at their own pace. All they have to do is put in the CD, push play and read along with the audio book. The books' bright colors make it easy for children to distinguish one book from among the others, and the focus on reading creates an early interest in the activity. Currently in English and Spanish, the books will soon be released in French and English, Arabic and English, and Japanese and English.
