The story tells of the adventures of Hibby and Lenore, a new friend that arrives by a cruise ship. The two companions explore their tropical paradise, both above and below the ocean. Vivid full page illustrations show their travels through the tropical scenery and their encounters with wonderous sea creatures. Hibby's Coloring Book is a companion publication to the "My Friend Hibby" picture book. Children can use their own imagination or allow the picture book to act as a coloring guide. Parents can use the 2 books together in an educational process with children using the picture book to identify colors and names of the underwater creatures and tropical scenes outlined in the coloring book. The coloring book has high quality sketches to allow a child to apply whatever level of artistry they desire.
