An Alphabet Adventure with Rose, the first book in the Laughing and Learning Series began with an answer to prayer through Nancy's family pet Rose, an English bulldog. Combining computer graphic design technology with still photographs, Nancy Herrington joined the talents of many people to take Rose on an alphabet adventure. She chose this format to teach children the ABC's in a fun lighthearted way. Each letter is highlighted in its appropriate location within the alphabet at the top of each page. Both upper and lower case letters receive a prominent place for additional recognition and the simple sentences encourage learning to read. Five more journeys are in process. Each book in the series will have a portion of the proceeds donated to a charitable organization as a way of sharing the blessings. The first in the series is being donated to Easter Seals Child Development Centers.
