A children's alphabet book in which illustrations of dinosaurs are shaped into the forms of the alphabet. The illustrations are hand drawn, and each illustration is accompanied by a poem in English and Spanish. There are items for children to look for on each page such as hidden letters of the alphabet, various kinds of insects and birds, famous paintings and land formations for adults to look for and point out, and much more. Each letter of the alphabet has a unique shading technique. The illustrations are darling. In general this is a very educational book that can be used from grade 1 to whatever grade or age. Great for the coffee table. Illustrations are black and white, but cover has color on front and back.

L.C. Sugar is the name for Gary Hauschulz (illustrator) and Susan Metzgar (poet for English and Spanish).

The authors describe the book a "A read-aloud book for ages preschool to prehistoric" or "un abecedario para los pequenos hasta los prehistoricos."
