The Quizm Message, Book One, "Trash Landing," is imaginative and inspiring. This colorful read-aloud book delights and teaches. It starts: "Out past the moon, deep in the night sky, spins the giggly planet of Quizm."

Among the Quizzles who live there are Eenor and Arym along with their parents and a pet named Gub. Eenor decides, after viewing earth on his Quizzlescope, that they should take a message to the children of earth. The one that their grandparents taught them. They get approval for the trip and leave for earth in the family's pish which is Quizzlish for spaceship. The trip is not without mishaps and the landing is a bumpy one, ending in a dumpster. Then they meet the earthlings Sam, Zack and Teresa who are not sure about these strange looking creatures, especially Gub (what is it?) A pet or a Pish. After meeting and playing with them Eenor,Arym and Gub with the earthling's help, find the prism which contains the Quizm message. The earthlings agree to help Eenor and Arym spread the Quizm message and become Quizzle Kidz. They look forward to seeing their new friends the next day. Yet what can they say to their parents about what they have been doing?
