It is an adventure story about a boy who goes on a fantastic trip across the galaxy to a wonderful planet which has the greatest amusement park in the whole universe. While there he makes new friends and meets the park's mysterious but kind creator, who turns out to be an astronaut from Earth! Adam gets to try out some of the most exciting rides ever invented, as well as, see a collection of the oddest, most interesting creatures ever to be displayed in an intergalactic zoo. The biggest surprise, however, awaits Adam after he returns home. This is the first of at least three "Adam" books to be published. It is illustrated with over 20 drawings. The book comes with a set of (removable) stickers that is a souvenir for those who venture into space with Adam. Although some of the vocabulary in this book may be a little above the normal fourth to sixth grade level for whom it was written, any new, unknown words are matched in more familiar sentence context situations throughout the book's text, so that children increase their vocabulary in an entertaining and virtually painless way.
