This is the true story of a Native American girl, Agnes Naranjo who grew up in New Mexico. In school she liked science and found airplanes fascinating. Later, she earned her pilot's license in a tiny plane and, encouraged by Enrico Fermi, the great atomic scientist, she earned a Ph.D. and went on to do important reseach at the Los Alamos National laboratory.
