3/6/2010 William Emerich said: The brilliant TV series is based on Lauren Child's Charlie and Lola books. The combination of a simple drawing style for characters and the use of collage for backgrounds is fun and effective. The Charlie and Lola stories are poignant and hilarious on DVD and in print.
