Each topic focuses quite specifically on two or three subject areas following the guidance given in the units of work in the QCA Schemes. The books include: planning support activity ideas photocopiables display ideas support for differentiation suggestions for resources Plants and animals provides lesson ideas which specifically link to the QCA topics of: Science:Plants and animals in the local environment Art and design:Mother Nature, designer Citizenship:Animals and us The book shows how these three curriculum subjects can be taught in a discrete yet cohesive way enabling efficient time managment of the curriculum.
