Recued by Arkon, a Yeti, and taken to the Yeti kingdom, Fenn recovers and learns to live a gentle, Yeti life. Some of the Yeti are against Fenn staying in their kingdom since humans have always sought to destroy them. Fenn is determined to win their confidence and remain with the Yeti living a harmonious existence. Kara May has created a fascinating and magical Yeti world; the Yetis whistle to communicate; they record 'Happenings' -- major events in their lives, through stone carvings; they develop 'Knowings' which help them know right from wrong; they are a simple and loving community who live from nature.
